“By the time your kid is out of 2nd grade, your kid should be super fluent in addition and subtraction. You don’t want your kid counting on their fingers.”

Ray: “I find when I pick up the kids on the way home from work, it is a tough time, since I just want to get home and relax.
Don’t immediately start cooking dinner and doing chores when you get home. Spend some time playing with your kid, first.”
